Slime        No! YOU did it.

Grime        I didn’t, I tell you. It was YOU!

Slime        Oh, forget it. Besides, we’re beginning to sound like a couple of humans!

Grime        Ha, ha. Yeah. Better not get like them. They’re REAL bad.

Slime        I reckon. So tell me, what’s your next assignment?

Grime        I’m going up.

Slime        Wow! Really? You’ve actually been given Someone? But how?

Grime        They don’t call me “dirtball” for nothing.

Slime        But what did you do? Like how could I get assigned up there?

Grime        Well, I don’t want to give away trade secrets or anything, but you’re a bad friend, and I hate you a lot, so I’ll tell you. You let the human fall into their own trap, and make sure that a senior devil sees it.

Slime        (Pause) I don’t get it.

Grime        Well. . .do you want to come for a quick trip, and I’ll demonstrate?

Slime        Sure. What up? (Points up)

Grime        Come on, no need to pack. (Exits)

Slime         But what if. . .oh, Hell! (Follows) Wait for me, you demon.

Grime        (Re entering) Slime, you there? Where is he?

Slime        (Entering, whispering) Grime! Grime! Where are you??

Grime        Boo! Ha, ha. Relax, they can’t see or hear you. Now, lesson one, finding the right person. It’s no good picking a hard subject. You want to make yourself look good, right? So choose an easy one to start with. Right, in here.

Slime        In CHURCH??! You can’t be serious. I’m not going in there. Too dangerous.

Grime        I’m not going in. What do you take me for, and idiot? We’ll look through the window.

Slime        I thought we were looking for an easy target.

Grime        We are.

Slime        A Christian is an easy target? Since when?

Grime        Listen, idiot. If you want to get the good assignments, then you have to take risks.
